Birdwatching
For the bird watching enthusiast, Malindi offers a great opportunity. Begin by identifying the hundreds of birds that nest on our tropical gardens and forest. The Sabaki River Delta only 1 hour away on horse back along the beach or 15 minutes by car is home to a great number of land and water birds. Our receptionist will be very happy to arrange either an individual or group visit. The Gede/Sokoke forest and Mida Creek, a mere 30 minutes drive from our Resort are also great places to visit for both game and bird watching. Both the Sabaki River System and the Arabuko Sokoke forest are Important Bird Areas.
